Yes. The companion and the local index remain the foundation of the product. The remote vault is a separate option.

Relay and Tramya both aim for shared context, with a different trust model. With Tramya, everything is local by default: the index of your sessions (SQLite memory) stays on your machine, and nothing leaves for a server until you explicitly enable Cloud.
